What does certified organic mean?
“Certified organic” is a labeling term that denotes products produced under the authority of the Organic Foods Production Act.
The act provides for a National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) that develops and recommends the standards for the National Organic Program (NOP) as administered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
A certified organic designation means that a state or private certification organization that is accredited by the USDA has verified that the product meets its strict organic standards.
The certifier inspects the location where the organic product is produced and handled to ensure that all the rules necessary to meet USDA organic standards are being followed.
Companies that handle or process organic food before it gets to the local supermarket or restaurant must also be certified and inspected annually to ensure continued compliance. (In order to maintain their accredited certifier status with the USDA, certifiers are required to conduct annual on-site inspections of all their clients.)
Who is your organic certifier?
Aura Cacia organic products are all certified by the leading third-party organic certifier Quality Assurance International (QAI).

HOW TO USE FOR BEST RESULTS
3 EASY WAYS TO USE ME:
1. Hair:
See our video OR see below:
- Section your hair into 4 equal parts from front to back
- Apply along your scalp and massage for 2-5 minutes to promote blood flow.
- Wrap your hair with a bonnet or silk/satin hair wrap to keep away from other fabrics
How to Remove From Your Hair:
Depending on hair type:
- Condition your hair before getting in the shower, make sure to massage into the scalp to help remove the oils. Then, shampoo as usual.
- Some prefer to use shampoo first, that is okay too.
** Do not wash out using dish soap, this will strip your hair and remove all the work you’ve just done trying to restore the health of it.

TIPS & TRICKS
1. Wash hair at least once a week – Here’s my favorite clean ingredient shampoo & conditioner
2. Apply to skin right after your shower for ultimate absorption.
3. Drink at least 10, 8oz cups of water a day.
4. Do not add chemical products to your hair, this damages your hair follicles and hair shaft that is trying to heal and re-grow.
Don’t add chemical products to your skin. Your skin is the largest organ that absorbs every chemical. Since you have a chronic illness, it’s harder for your body to eliminate waste and filter out chemicals due to chronic inflammation. By using chemical-free products with no fillers, you will absorb all of the correct nutrients your body needs to thrive.
